What a great evening here in Steamboat Springs at the Routt County Lincoln Day Dinner!
It is great to be back home here on the Western Slope and especially here in Routt! I briefly ran for Colorado Senate District 8 back in 2008 and in doing so, we built a lot of relationships here in Routt – it was great to catch up with Senator Taylor, Geneva, BJ, Paul, Kevin, Jeff, Mike and Maureen (thanks for the contribution tonight, btw) and many others
Everyone took bumper stickers and it felt good to be home on the Western Slope – most importantly, our message reasonated strongly – bailouts ain’t very popular here in Steamboat Springs, especially Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Routt County is clearly Hasan County – wonderful to be back home and I look forward to visiting again soon
